Already early works of twelve Galicia Lomazzo mentions. She is known for portraits of his contemporaries (portrait of a Milanese historian and poet Paolo Morigi, Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Milan; "the portrait of the doctor", Milan, etc.) and still lifes (from 63 44 her things — still lifes). He also performed a number of altar paintings in the churches of Milan. Her painting developed under the influence of the Lombard Mannerist, the influence of Caravaggio, and she, in turn, influenced the genre of Baroque still life.

Fede Galizia (Milão, 1578 — Milão, 1630), mais conhecida como Galizia, foi uma pintorarenascentistaitaliana, cuja arte englobava a temática de natureza-morta, retratos e quadros religiosos. É conhecida como pintora de natureza-morta de frutas, um gênero no qual ela foi uma das primeiras praticantes na Europa. Ela talvez não seja tão conhecida como outras artistas femininas, como Angelica Kauffman e Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, porque não teve acesso a círculos sociais orientados para a corte ou aristocráticos, nem procurou o patrocínio particular de governantes políticos e nobres.[1][2][3]
Biografia

Fede (cujo nome significa “fé”) aprendeu a pintar com ele. The Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento will be the site, from July 3 to October 25, 2021, of the first exhibition dedicated to a great painter of the Cinqe-Seventeenth century, Fede Galizia (documented in Milan from 1587 - Milan, after 1630), an artist of Trentino origin whose biographical path can be placed alongside that of other great women of the time such as Sofonisba Anguissola and Artemisia Gentileschi.
