Godwin Emmanuel Ifeanyi known professionally as Shugavybz, is a platinumNigeriansongwriter, record producer, and singer,[1] signed to Godboy Empire. He rose to stardom after being featured on Paulash Panache's 2020 single "No Girlfriend No Problem" with Roger Lino, and Leeroy Afrika, which earned him a nomination at 2020 City People Music Awards for Best Collabo of the Year [2]

He gained international recognition for co-writing Davido's Grammy-nominated fourth studio album Timeless, which earned him a special recognition from The Recording Academy as a composer.[3] He primarily produced and wrote most songs on Iyanya's third EP The 6th Wave.[4][5] On 15 May 2023, Shugavybz was ranked number thirty-four on TurnTable's Official Producer Top 100.[6]

Early life and career

Godwin Emmanuel Ifeanyi was born in Ojodu Berger, a suburb area of Lagos, and hails from Ebonyi State.[7] He had his primary education at Access Model Private School and his secondary education at Susan

Iyanya

Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk (popularly known by his first name Iyanya) is Nigerian pop artist. He was born in Calabar, Nigeria on 31 October 1986. He started as a singer in the children's choir in his local church, becoming the choir master.

In 2008, he lost both his parents. In the same year he won singing talent show MTN Project Fame and recorded his debut album, ahead of later renowned singers Praiz and Omawumi. 'My Story', his debut album, was not the breakout album he perhaps expected.

His breakthrough came after the release of 'Kukere', which became an International megahit. It was so popular it was featured on the UK programme Britain's Got Talent, as danced to by a contestants.

'Kukere' was released along with several other songs on Iyanya's sophomore album, 'Desire' in 2013. The album also had the popular 'Ur Waist' and 'Flavour'. After that album, Iyanya and erstwhile producer D'Tunes parted. His third album 'Applaudise' was released in 2015.

In 2016, it was announced that Iyanya was joining Don Jazzy's Mavin Records, a surprise to many because Iyanya was co-owner
