Famous composer Vu Thanh An dedicates his musical fortune to charity

Composer Vu Thanh An, 80, has returned to Vietnam from the US to transfer copyright ownership of all musical works to the Vietnamese-American Copyright Protection Joint Stock Company, whose representative is singer Ngoc Cham.

Hồ Ngọc Hà (born 25 November 1984)[1][2] is a Vietnamese singer, model and actress.

She started her singing career by releasing her first album titled 24/7 back in 2004. The album was a hit which helped her to make an appearance in Asia Song Festival in South Korea.[3]

As being brand ambassador of Sunsilk, she cooperated with the brand to release new album and later run on tour campaign. Her second album Tìm Lại Giấc Mơ (Finding Dreams) was released in 2010 along with many mini projects which were later released in 2011. At the end of 2011, she released her 6th album named Invincible - Sẽ Mãi Bên Nhau with same title head single.

She won 2 awards among 12 nominations, including Golden Apricot Blossom Award, HTV Award, Green Wave Award, Golden Album, Yan Vpop 20. On 14 April 2012, she won Favorite Female Singer Award with 14.216 votes at HTV Award.

Music has always been a way for Ngo Thuy Mien to express himself and share his emotions with those he loves.

Born in 1948 in Hai Phong, Vietnam, Ngo began writing music at the age of 15. Growing up in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, Ngo recalls, “I grew up among books, poetry, and music.

Although we were in the midst of a war, in the beginning, when I started to write music, I had chosen a path for myself and that was to write only love songs.”

Classically trained in violin during the 1960s at the National Conservatory of Music in Saigon, Ngo says he was very lucky during a period when not many people could afford to send their children to a music school.

Going to the conservatory allowed him to develop his musical style and spend time with his childhood friend and future wife, Van Doan, who studied piano at the school. After graduating in 1965, Ngo and Doan drifted apart. Ngo began writing love songs.
