Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, known simply by the moniker "Omarosa," is a woman television viewers love to hate. Launched to stardom as a result of her appearance on the inaugural season of Donald Trump's NBC reality show The Apprentice in 2004 and the follow-up Celebrity Apprentice in 2008, Omarosa became famous for her calculating, outspoken, take-no-prisoners approach to business and for her infamous clashes with fellow participants on the show. Omarosa Onee Newman (; néeManigault; born February 5, 1974), known mononymously as Omarosa, is an American reality television show participant, writer, and former political aide. She has worked in the White House offices of former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump. She became widely known as a contestant on the first season of NBC's reality television series The Apprentice.

Newman became assistant to the President and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison during the Trump administration in January 2017. However, on December 13, 2017, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly fired Newman, citing "money and integrity issues", as well as "inappropriate use of company vehicles".[citation needed] Afterwards, she competed twice on the Big Brother reality series – in 2018 on the first season of Celebrity Big Brother US, placing 5th, and in 2021 on Big Brother Australia VIP, placing 12th.[citation needed]
